Hey
A new film about The Pirate Bay has been released a few days ago.
It’s free and legal to download and stream.

Haven’t seen it yet, but can’t wait. It’s about TPBs history from creation in 2003 and up through the trial in 2009.

It was sad when the British Government told out ip’s to block all contact with the piratebay and I don’t see why they tried. I got a lot of help from The PirateBay for one thing or another. They thought they had blocked us? NOP! They didn’t because you can still access the Piratebay through many proxys. here’s on I use: The PirateBay

One good thing about Firefox is the addon adblock as it gets rid of all the adds that keep popping up on facebook and other sites.

What are you talking about Arishaker??

Anonra: Nice proxy you have there :P didn’t knew about that. Normally I just change my DNS settings. Works great for me. Maybe going to make a tut on how to do it. But there’s just so many of them, everywhere, so not sure if we need one here…..
But thanks for your feedback ^_^.

I support P2P, however, I don’t see how you can get upset at a company for going after a site supports theft. A profit margin loss of 6.1 billion dollars for the industry, that is huge. I think it would be ridiculous to go after them if it was in the thousands, but its not. I think if you are willing to take the risks of downloading the movies, you have to be willing to pay the piper. I think there is a huge difference between freedom of information and piracy. Think of it like this, if you invested a ton of money in a project, would you want people taking it? It’s still your’s at the end of the day, no matter how much money you have.

A quick add to previous post - I retract claiming the three individuals support theft, I’m sure they make it known on their site that it is illegal to do such actions (I don’t go on there), and going after them may not be the right course of action. However, if they are not attempting to mitigate ongoing piracy, companies will perceive they support it and will go for the source.

hey guys ~ newbie here. Just wondering, how can this web help me in becoming a hacker ? I’ve never been a hacker before. I don’t know anything about hacking. Can this web really help me to become one ?

Not jumping your case, just a few quick points @yokies. First, try and keep a reply within a forum post inline with the topic discussed. Your response has nothing to with the topic. Second, yes, this site can teach you some of the tools of the trade for hacking.

well @yokies TPB is a place for people to share files so if i have a song like idk “tacos and the world of pie”(I just made that up) I can upload that file to the site and you can download it from me with out have me on like facebook or skype or me send it right to your email and yea i guess it could help you hack if you know how it works like sending a bugged file or something

But @Ski900 yea you are right but what they run is a P2P site what people share is on them its like facebook if I share a porn pic you cant sue FB for sharing porn you would have to come and get me but yea i do get what your saying and i am not made at them for that i mean if i worked on a program and tryed to sell it yea id be pissed and would go after the uploaders

That is a good point @wasthatme, however, Facebook has measurements set in place to prevent that happening. So, if it were to ever head to court, they can argue that they go further than just posting a warning message and not reprimanding its users for doing so.

i know i was just saying but they really did try to “P0w3n” them in the butt with the court case its like a two way thing like i know why but at the same time they kind of went over bored and went the kids in the sandbox way
