iPhone hacking (iOS 7 or 8)

So i’ve done a LOT of research and i just cant find anything i understand but cutting the story short, is there a way to gain access to a iPhone wirelessly to gain their password or gain access to information like text messages, contacts, photos etc?

I would love to know if anybody else has any ideas, i’m using Kali Linux.

Once I saw this video where you’d just have to do like 5 easy steps and you got their pin, so it must be possible.
