I have been looking around the internet, finding allot of download sites that turn your computer into a *WiFi Hotspot* for FREE. All you need do is download a program and you have FREE internet. This sounds a little too good to be true to me. I was wondering if anyone here has ever downloaded such a program before and if so how well it worked. Your input on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I think its a load of bull. turning your computer into a WiFi hotspot. You need an ISP to provide you with internet and a router to connect to.

You can turn your wifi to a hotspot using Windows afaik. But without ISP provider, you won’t have internet connection to share so it’s pointless. Maybe you or someone misunderstood the pourpouse of the program? Good example is my Andorid cell phone. It can become hotspot (you can find it in build in options of the phone) so I can share my 3G connection to anyone in range. But I ofc pay for the connection to my provider.

It is really a joke !!
Use a software to change PC to hot spot !! Crap
without any router , without ISP , without an internet connection !!!
I cannot believe my eyes such thing are believed by people !!!

Such softwares are generally Trojans or Malwares which will harm the PC a lot !!!! :o

How on earth can downloading a program give you free internet if the internet connection isn’t there in the first place which then makes it pointless? I wouldn’t trust it if I were you

Of course there is a program that you can download to get free internet… it’s called backtrack!

Just because I am paranoid doesnt mean theyre not after me…
