Hello everybody, I’m reading the ‘Welcome to HackThis!!’ article and I see some good tips and also an invitation to write an introduction post on the forums:
Post an introduction on our forums. Although this is not compulsory, it will give us a chance to say hello and to get to know you.
So, here I am, my name is Mr. Cyph3r.
I heard about this website the first time by talking to a friend of mine on Skype, we are used to work on challenges, competitions, bugs and all the things we can put our hands on… mainly for learning purposes but hey, sometimes even just for fun.
He mentioned this site so I’ve decided to sign up.
Well, I’ve only attempted to the Main, Basic+ and some of the Javascript levels, I’m just beginning my experience here on hackthis but so far I find it really interesting and I think I will learn a lot.
What to say, I’m kinda good at coding, mainly C/C++, Python and PHP but I also know some other languages, I’ve learned to code at school and my first program was the classic Hello World (written in Turbo Pascal lol), after this I literally crushed my mind on the ‘GameOfLife’.
Aww, if I think back at that period of my life I still laugh at how those simple programs seemed complicated and sophisticated.
Talking about challenges, scripts, and stuff in general I’m always happy to help people, if you ask me for help or if you just want to talk I’ll be glad to reply as soon as possible, even if my english is not very good.
