What’s the point of the level, if you can just ask for the credentials?

how so? I’m new here, I wanted to try out the lvl, but has USERNAME and PASSWORD ..

The task of each level is to find out the credentials. If people would just tell you what they are, what would be the point?
Besides, you are in main level 1 section askin help for basic + lvl1, so which level are we talking about?

I can give you a tip: look at the page source. You might be surprised about what you find.

Hey pomesmit, like daMage said, look at the page source of the level and you might just find what you are looking for.

then what do I do?

try ctrl-F when viewing the source, this will allow you to quickly find any word you search for, the idea is to think of what the key words might be to help complete the level

I search password example, and where I look username and pass? s:

Hey pomesmit, you can’t be that thick mate? Look in the level source code like everyone is telling you.

In Main level 1 you will see:
Do NOT enter your credentials below, these levels are here to test you. Find the correct details and proceed to the next level.
If you get stuck check out the hint, forum posts and articles shown in the help section on the left.

Right click you mouse and click view page source.
Now press your Ctrl key and the F key at the same time.
at the bottom of the window you will see the word: Find and a small window.
In the small window type password and press the enter key
you now need to click the Next button slightly to the right of where you entered the word password
click next and you will see more than likely in green letters:
Now you can’t get that wrong! :)
