help with level 10

well the url is quite simple but there are alot of chances that you might be getting it wrong it took me a few tries too… coz its in - [removed]… folder

if you wanna know what folder is it . main level 8 might give you a direct hint :)

Hey waffie , mattempik has more or less given you the answer. But saying that, only if you did level 8 by yourself and not had the answer given to you on a plate like a lot of the members on here seem to think that’s how to pass the levels. Use your brain mate, it’s the best tool you have. The reason you are getting a 404 code is because you are in the wrong directory and need to put the level10pass.html script somewhere else. All the answers you need are here on this forum of hints. The answer is all here. Just think! :)

so i got this “[removed]
[removed]” but now im kinda stuck on what to do with it.

very nice level as i beat it very quickly but did need to look on the forum due to being an idiot and always over looking things

the url rprovided decrypts the code but the question is how the decryption is done..

the type of hash is an [removed] or base64 hash, so you should be able to solve it now.
Admin: Since base64 isn’t a hash function, you were basically giving a spoiler here…

LOL……….. oh man what can i say here….
i just worked it out, COMMENTS TO THE DEVELOPERS, Something a little more original would have made the satisfaction of the victory a lot greater
when i worked it out, i felt soo stupid LOL

I’m not going to say it, but , we all know how i could have saved soooooo much time on this one. (that’s probably enough said , right there)

OK… so , advice…

if your getting the 404 Error Messages
- think about the URL your entering
- refer to previous lessons,
- have a little look around, using previous techniques

Regarding Decryption
in short (to say the obvious),
- identify the existing code
- Decrypt that code to Text

THEN MARVEL AT THE SIMPLICITY OF THE LOGIN…………. LOL

ANOTHER NOTE
i actually got cocky at one stage, and thought to myself

WHAT IF YOU DON’T NEED TO DECRYPT IT AT ALL
so… i entered it AS IS

don’t bother, it doesn’t work. AS IS,
you do actually need to decrypt it

but i thought that might have been a clever trick, and some what evil

to have everyone think it needs decryption to begin with
