Hi, I know nothing about “Metasploit”. Please tell me what exactly it is, what it does, how it works.

Plus, I hear it is like an advanced “Command Prompt”. Please explain.

it’s a collection of scripts which allows you to exploit vulnerabilities on a remote machine.
It gives you a graphical and simple interface to attack computers and take control of them.

If you want to try it out download and Kali Linux, Kali is a penetration operating system which can run on a USB pen drive, it has metasploit pre installed with a lot of other fun things too.

it is a tool for noobs that makes them even more noobish
also it is written in ruby so one should hate it just for that

That’s true there is a better than Metasploit Framework :)
( yeah, ruby is not really good though )

 

You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ‘\’‘ at line 1

What would you guys suggest other than metasploit ?
Something for windows.

Code everything by yourself

Did you require Metasploit for windows?

You may have to fill in the following to get a licence

It depends on what you want to do?

 

Most situations are 95% PIBCAC 5% Network.
