Where is the ‘Programming’ folder by the way? The torrent died at some 30% and as I read from the note there are several files are causing this.

Thanks a lot Osaka! Huge awesome compilation! My torrent stops at ~70% though (‘hash error’). But 70% are more than enough to spend the next couple of weeks reading, reading, reading! :)

lihp have you tried force start , or try to update your torrent . or you can try this : delete your.torrent file and download it again and then put the same directory where you have saved it . it will check your files and it may work out .

jayssj11, forcing it didn’t work. i already finished downloading though. i just restarted it everytime it stopped because of that hash error. over and over and over.. was really annoying. mainly because checking ~30gb on every restart takes time. anyway thanks for your support!

i had 13 hashfails ( 122 MB) was wasted . it was pretty annoying . everyone who has downloaded it keep on seeding even as low as
5 kb/s is appriciated . it will keep the torrent alive .

I will download in parts since my internal HDD is pretty much full and will have to transfer data to my external device. But for the parts that i have in my computer, sharing is, of course, enabled :)

Have fun!

Just saw this old thread.

Seems like a valuable collection to have, does anyone know where to get it? Can’t download it from the original location since the domain has expired..

@Memoria Can you give us all of the files in a single download, without having to download all of the files separately?

@stefanking56 I’m looking for a way to download all at once, give me a minute or 5..

@Markb2 OK man, tell me if you find a way.

I also tried some plugins, downloading the website and even some jQuery code to click on all of the links, but the website get’s its data with AJAX and some javascript to display the links. The homepage is nothing more than just file that has a JavaScript file linked.

@stefanking56 It may not be the most beautiful solution but the browser plugin “DownThemAl!” works. I’m using the plugin on Firefox, but it may be available for other browsers as well.

If you download a file you will see the source (for example: http://learning.lafon.info/dl.php?file=2)

With DownThemAll! you can choose to download multiple files at once, for example the files with ID’s 1 till 100. Your DownThemAll! string would be: http://learning.lafon.info/dl.php?file=[1:100]

If you use this, please use it wisely. (i guess) It can cause much traffic on the webserver. So don’t download too large fragments at once.4

Hope this helps!

Thanks for that solution @Markb2
I had seen DownThemAll! before, but since it is just for Firefox i dismissed it. However, I will now download Firefox and try it out with this plugin.

I saw some files that had file=‘3500’, like the first book in algorithms. This must mean that there are 3500+ files to download.

You’re welcome @stefanking56 .

Yes i noticed this as well.
I believe there are no more than 4000 files, but i could be wrong. I didn’t take a close look.

Can anyone recommend an interesting book that is included in these files?

Mugi [Mugiwara27]

They are exactly 3839 files
If you want to download them all, you can use :
wget http://learning.lafon.info/dl.php?file={1..3839}
And you’ll get them all :p

I don’t know what is this but i will download it
