Tethering on a J2ME system

Hey, guys. I am desperately trying to connect my Huawei G6609 to my machine to share internet, however I have no success. After 10 pages of Google searching I found nothing, so I thought that some of you might have experience with that and help me.

So, my question straight: How to (if even possible) tether a J2ME system? Thanks in advance.
P.S. Sorry if posted in wrong category.

That does not sound like it will work. If the first 10 pages of Google do not yield anything, then you’ll be hard pushed to find a solution.

Though from my limited knowledge, you might need to ‘root’ your phone to get this to work, and mash in some Java.

(It’s the correct category)

I don’t know a lot but since its an J2ME phone , rooting isn’t an option . Rooting is done to gain superuser rights on an Android device whereas you need to Jailbreak your phone , if you own an IPhone.
As far as J2ME or Java is considered , I guess , you gotta rely upon some 3rd party apps if available to tether your device !!
Furthermore , the process of rooting won’t help in tethering , so its not useful.
That’s all that I know….Hope it helps !! :)

Thank you all for helping so far. Unfortunately, I’m still unlucky.

@Osaka and @Abhi_hacker: I’ve already got full access to my phone, so no rooting whatsoever is needed.
@rekcah.ronoh: Thanks for the tip, but nothing in Google so far provides me with info how to do that.

@Elhitch , do you have any Wifi option in your phone ?

Re: Can you share your phone’s internet with any other device ? I mean is there any option like Wifi Hotspot ??

Yes, I do. The least, I can connect to a WiFi network.

No. Neither one is seen under the WiFi category, neither the official phone specs cover it.

Elhitch Yeah, let me say….Now I’m sure that you have WIFI in your mobile. WIFI: >EN< wireless communication protocols.
Huawei G6609 >network< ==> GSM850, GSM900, GSM1800, GSM1900, GPRS, EDGE, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, Wifi, 802.11b, 802.11g

To connect with WIFI it’s very easy…. I hope that helps you ==>

Thank you for the information, @rekcah.ronoh, however the information you provided me is how to connect your phone to a wireless network while my question is how to “give” your phone’s internet to your machine.

I’d like to thank everyone else who tried to help me as well. Just so that you know: obviously data tethering isn’t possible with a J2ME system (so go grab an Android phone).
